This version is a recovered edition after some setbacks during development. Unfortunately, some of the original files were lost, so this release might not be as polished as intended.

How to Run the Game on Windows

  1. Download the Game:
    • Download the game zip file from here.
  2. Extract the Files:
    • Extract the downloaded `.zip` file to a folder on your computer.
    • You can use programs like WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract the files.
  3. Run the Game:
    • Open the folder where you extracted the files.
    • Double-click the `Ryan Run.exe` file to start the game.
    • If prompted by Windows (e.g., a security warning), click Run to proceed.

How to Run the Game on Mac and Linux

If you're using the .exe version of the game and want to play it on Mac or Linux, follow the steps below.

For Mac Users:

  1. Download the .exe file from the provided link. Use Keka to extract the file.
  2. Install Wine (for running Windows applications on macOS):
    • Download Wine from WineHQ or use Homebrew:
      bash~ brew install --cask wine-stable  
  3. Run the .exe file using Wine:
    • Open Terminal and navigate to the folder where the .exe file is downloaded.
    • Run the .exe file with this command:
      bash~ wine yourfile.exe  
  4. Alternatively, you can use CrossOver, which is a paid version of Wine, or set up a Windows virtual machine using software like VirtualBox or Parallels.

For Linux Users:

  1. Download the .exe file from the provided link. Use WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract the files.
  2. Install Wine (for running Windows applications on Linux):
    • Open Terminal and run the following command to install Wine (for Ubuntu/Debian-based systems):
      bash~ sudo apt update sudo apt install wine  
  3. Run the .exe file using Wine:
    • Navigate to the folder where the .exe file is saved and use this command to run it:
      bash~ wine yourfile.exe  
  4. Alternatively, you can use a Virtual Machine (like VirtualBox) or install PlayOnLinux for easier management of Wine.

Changes in v1.3X:

  • Recovered from a previous backup.
  • Some features might not be fully functional due to missing assets.
  • Game version displayed as "v1.3X" to reflect the current state.
